On April 11, 2025, 19 African founders gathered in the historic Bretton Woods Gold Room, not to rewrite global economics, but to commit to building Africa’s future through bold innovation and collaboration.
Now officially the 18th Class of Harambeans, these entrepreneurs hail from nine countries, including Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zambia and have collectively raised over $27.9 million. Their ventures span fintech, agritech, health tech, logistics, enterprise, and consumer goods, sectors vital to the continent’s growth.
With six women and thirteen men, this cohort brings diverse perspectives and strong early traction. As part of the Harambean Alliance, they join a pan-African network of changemakers, funders, and mentors working to unlock Africa’s potential.
These founders aren’t waiting for change, they’re building it.
“We don’t just select startups, we select builders of Africa’s future. This class is bold, purpose-driven, and ready to reshape the continent.”
